Ring Road/Ranch Road Construction
project profile
In 2022 and 2023, Thesis completed a major roadworks project to reactivate the Ring Road/Ranch Road, significantly improving access to both the Lawyers and Ranch areas. This work provided reliable road access to the Lawyers-Ranch Project and established safe, year-round connectivity by creating gentler grades and mitigating the avalanche risks associated with the previous site access route.
As part of this effort, a 40 km stretch of historic site access road was reactivated. The scope of work included the installation of six (6) new bridges, approximately 90 drainage culverts, six (6) embedded culverts to support fish passage, resurfacing with locally sourced sand and gravel, and extensive brushing to clear ditches and improve sightlines.
The upgraded infrastructure directly supports ongoing exploration and development activities at the Lawyers and Ranch projects.
support roles include
- Management of Request for Proposal process and recommendation for award
- Management of contracts and contract administration
- Management of procurement process and supply of bridges/materials
- Management of civil, engineering and environmental contractors
- Management of project controls (scope, schedule, budget and cost controls)
